Announcing the BuzzFlash “America in 2012″ Progressive Video Contest. It’s our first video contest, and it’s open to anyone with an imagination. This is your chance to win a $500 award by showing the world your interpretation of what America will look like after four years of President Obama or four years of President McCain.
Videos should be no longer than 5 minutes and can be in any format so long as they video can be uploaded on YouTube.com and played without difficulty. However, the ambitious should feel free to submit one video in each category, keeping in mind entrants can only win one of the two $500 prizes.
That’s right, you have a choice of two subjects and the chance to win a $500 award for each separate category. Remember, these are two separate categories, so don’t combine them.
The Winners and notable entries will be highlighted on Buzzflash.org.

These people are scammers!
They are now saying that they are not rewarding any prizes because they only recieved 8 entries. Their rules NEVER stated that they had to recieve a certain amount of entries to give out the prize. They just used everyones videos to promote their website! Shame on them

Hello,
I am here to warn everyone about Buzzflash.com
Today they messaged me to tell me that they were not going to give away the promised prizes because they were unhappy with the video entries.
I replied to their message and told them what they were doing was unfair. They promised a prize, they should award it to one of the entries.
Thats when they attacked my entry by saying that “even if we were giving away the prize, we wouldn’t give you it” and said that my video entry was bad. (they also went on to tell everyone elses they sucked too.)
Now I may not be this big professional movie maker but I worked hard and long on my video entry and felt deeply offended by the comment.
In my opinion, there were quality entries and they could have picked a winner.
So watch out for Buzzflash.com They are scammers.
Here’s a link to their contest announcement video. You can see where they bad mouthed everyone on there and basically laughed about not giving away any of the prizes:

Update- And now the worst of all news is that they claim they now own all the videos that were entered because it said in their contest rules that all entries became their property. This is stupid

But. But. I don’t understand. They describe themselves as an “…anti-hypocrisy web community…” …sounds holy to me. HAHA!
No seriously, this is super-lame guys. Thanks for the headsup on BuzzFlash.com! (of course I would be curious to hear their side of the story, seeing they so quickly removed their Youtube video. “WAAAA!”)
Okay. I’m done.
