Howitoo Summer 2012 Video Contest – $500 – No age restrictions listed – Due October 16, 2012

The mission is simple: Create a detailed How to video about any topic that you may find interesting. We mean it, anything at all that teaches How to do something! If you’re not sure if your topic would be popular, you can ask us for approval/advice on a title in order to find out if it would be a good fit for the contest.

Requirements

Rules for Submissions of How To Videos:
* Video must be at least 2 minutes long, preferably 5 minutes
* Video must be a How To video that explains how to do something
* Video must not be pushing/sponsoring a firm or a product
* Exclusive rights must be given to Howitoo.com for the video (in compliance with our TOS)
This is how it goes down: Once you finished editing your How to video, you will email it to us. We will then upload it to our video section on Howitoo.com and YouTube alike. We will link from YouTube to your video’s page on Howitoo and the sponsor as well to give proper credit.

Judging Criteria

We will rank each video based on its popularity on YouTube (views, comments) and the rankings achieved on our site. We are also looking for creativity and the level of effort put behind your video. Several other factors will be taken into place when grading your video, and ultimately, the founder of Howitoo will decide on it.
