Privalia was founded in Barcelona in 2006 by Lucas Carné and José Manuel Villanueva and today has more than 9 millions members around the world, placing itself as a benchmark for the industry. Privalia closed 2011 with a turnover of 320 millions dollars, has about 1000 employees in five offices in Spain, Italy, Brazil, Mexico and Germany. In this last country, Privalia acquired in 2011 Dress-for-less, a leader in online fashion sales.
