‘What is out there?’ is a call for participants from all over the world to submit a video and participate in a competition on how to finance entrepreneurs through non-conventional ways.
SCIEF Center, with the collaboration of IE Business School and King AbdulAziz University, invite you to share your innovative ideas that could shape how the world finance systems emerge.
Requirements
All you have to do is make a short video (3 mins max) that showcases examples of social impact finance from your community and around the world.
Due July 15, 2012
Participants can only submit one video..
LANGUAGE: For any spoken language used in your video other than English, participants are required to include the relevant subtitles in English.
Eligibility
Anyone, age 17 onwards, anywhere is free to participate in “What is out there?” and showcase an alternative way of financing.
Judging Criteria
1. Viewer’s choice: This round is where you get your friends, family, community to vote for your idea. The top 20 videos with the most likes will move to the semi final round
2. Judge choice: The top 20 videos will be reviewed by judge panelists who will review on these criteria and the top 10 videos will have an all expense trip to Madrid and access to the highly exclusive Financial Innovation by Youth Think Tank.

3. Final round of Review: The top 10 teams have a chance to prepare a presentation for why their idea rocks and why they should be part of making the documentary Financial Innovation by Youth. The top 3 winners will win 2000 Euros to produce their part of the documentary which will be showcased in 2013 across the globe in Madrid, Paris and Jeddah.
Prize
The 10 shortlisted will receive free flight tickets, hotel stay, to compete in the Madrid Round Finale of Financial Innovation Empowered by Youth Think Tank.
All the 10 shortlisted will compete for the grand prize by pitching their ideas in front a panel of top business leaders and academics to stand a chance to win 3 Grand Prizes of 2000 Euros. This cash reward will allow each winner to produce a longer documentary that will be shown around the world in major cities such as Madrid, Paris, and Jeddah and through online live stream.
