This brief is all about individuality, confidence and self-realization. It’s aimed at first time car buyers, who’ve put hard research and careful consideration into their decision. In the Chinese demographic, it’s for those who’ve just taken a big step towards stability and family independence.

It’s about the confidence and respect that is gained and felt in making this first move (or a drive) towards their dreams on their terms. Even though the Cruze is the 1st time car of choice, this is because of detailed research and passionately calculated life ambitions.

This demographic is in their early thirty’s- hard workers with the pride, ambition, and excitement to “perform, no matter what”. Driving this car is a symbol of character, of strength, and of devotion.

Requirements

• TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:
A Video File must be submitted – the Video file (s) must be no more than the maximum duration stated in the Competition Brief (all copyrighted material will be removed).

The Video file size should be kept at or under 100 MB for quicker upload/encoding time (max file size is 300MB). Video Files must be provided in one of the following file formats: .MPG; .MOV; .AVI; .WMV; .MP4; .M4V

Finalists may be asked to provide the original audio and video files used during production of the entry for broadcast purposes. This may include uncompressed QuickTime files, final audio mix and/or separate audio tracks for dialogue, music, and effects. These items are not mandatory to become a Finalist
• ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Submission must be primarily in English or subtitled.

For the Beijing video contest, Sprite wants short films of 90 seconds or less that show those crucial moments when a teenager can chose to follow your gut, or ignore it.

Eligibility

Over the age of 16 at the date of entry.

Judging Criteria

Unless otherwise stated in The Brief the Judging Criteria (“Judging Criteria”) is as follows:
1. Originality and Creativity – 50%
2. Adherence to Creative Assignment – 50%
