Short Shorts? Yes, but we are not talking about Daisy Duke.

If you’re a budding filmmaker or just have a knack for capturing funny and entertaining videos, then you’re who we need for this contest!

VidOpp Note: This contest is open to all DXG camera and camcorder owners only 

Simply shoot and submit any personal video to us and you’ll be entered in our Short Shorts Video Contest.
We will post your video on YouTube and the public will decide who wins. Winners will be based on a combination of number of ratings, views, comments and favorites received. Hey, this is a popularity contest, after all.

There are two categories for the contest:
1. Funniest Video: It could be your own stand-up skit, a comedy sketch or a blooper.
2. Music Video: Record yourself or your friends singing, either live or lip-sync.

That’s easy, right?

Video must be 1 minute long and should be less than 10MB and sent to dxgyoutube@dxgtechusa.com and
must be received between August 25 and September 20, 2007 to be entered in the contest.

Voting will start September 22 and ends September 30, 2007. 2 Grand prize winners will each receive a DXG-589V plus 3 runners-up per category will each receive a DXG-506V.

So, what are you waiting for? Take out those DXG cameras and camcorders and start filming!

Video must be one (1) minute long or shorter and have a file size of 10MB or less. (Make sure that video quality on your camera is set at 320 x 240) Any videos over the allotted size and time will be rejected and not be entered.

Email video (VidOpp: Just the link?) to dxgyoutube@dxgtechusa.com, include name, address and phone number.  Winner (s) will be determined by a combination of views, ratings, comments and favorites received. To do this, one should have a valid YouTube account and have agreed to the YouTube Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
