The Superbowl will be here before you know it! Edinboro University and WICU 12 have teamed up to bring you the Great Commercial Contest.  Think of an idea for an Edinboro University commercial that showcases the great things that are happening.  Showcase our faculty, our students, our degree programs, our new construction projects…
But make it something you’d expect to see as a commercial in the Super Bowl. Make it something that people will still be talking about even after the Super Bowl is over.
The Edinboro Great Commercial Contest is open only to individuals who are legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia, who are 18 years of age or older, and who have a valid user account with YouTube. Submission period ends on 11:59:59 pm ET on December 31, 2008. 

SUBMISSION OF A HARD COPY–
Submissions that do not have a corresponding hard copy of the original format suitable for television will not be eligible to win.  After your video has been uploaded and registered. Please mail a hard copy on a DVD or other suitable media of your video to:

or hand deliver a copy to the same address.

In order to be eligible the commercial must include:

• Plaid (Royal Stewart tartan)
• Edinboro University’s Name
• Edinboro University’s website (www.edinboro.edu)

Round 1: The Entries will be posted for the public to vote on their favorite at http://www.eupcontest.org starting on or about November 15, 2008 at 12:00:01 am ET and ending on January 15, 2009 at 11:59:59 pm ET

Round 2: Entries will be judged by a qualified panel of judges. 

Judging Criteria:

• Originality
• Overall Appeal
• Likelihood to Motivate People to Attend Edinboro University

ONE GRAND PRIZE: Your commercial will be aired during Super Bowl XLII and you will receive Wide Screen HD Television from WICU. 

FIVE RUNNER-UP PRIZES: Each of the five runner-ups will receive Digital Video Camera.
