The Facing Us campaign highlights the ‘face’ of bipolar disorder and depression and to supplies tools to those ‘facing’ the challenges of living with these illnesses. There is an intentional, multi-layered meaning to the program’s title: bringing mood disorders out of the shadows; humanizing those with the illnesses; and helping those diagnosed to create a reality where they face a better future.
No one is alone. WE ALL HAVE A STORY. Stories of hope, recovery, fear, humor, struggle and triumph. Every one is
different…any one is similar. Each one of us has a story…OURS. Help us show the world the real ‘face’ of depression and bipolar disorder…YOURS.
