EXPIRED - G4’s Attack of the Show Video Contest - NC - Over 18 y.o. - Under 2 minutes - Due: FEBRUARY 11, 2008

User Created is your chance to amaze the world with your short filmmaking skills.  The winning video will be showcased on G4’s Attack of the Show. The creator of the winning video will receive a prize and eligibility for the User Created Grand Prize.  “Attack of the Show” is TV’s Only Source For All the Stuff You Care About. AOTS is a daily, live television show on G4 that covers video games, technology, movies, the Internet and all things pop culture every weeknight. Watch AOTS for the announcement of the next challenge as well as the winner of each.

Contest Competition #3: The object of the competition is for contestants to create and upload a fake commercial for a fake 80’s video game. Videos for Competition #3 must be received between 12:01 a.m. ET on November 14, 2007 and 11:59 p.m. ET on November 26, 2007.

Contest Competition #4: The object of the competition is for contestants to create and upload a commercial for a fictional holiday special of their own creation. Videos for Competition #4 must be received between 12:01 a.m. ET on November 28, 2007 and 11:59 p.m. ET on December 10, 2007.

Contest Competition #5: The object of the competition is for contestants to create and upload a humorous educational video for Attack of the Show viewers. Videos for Competition #5 must be received between 12:01 a.m. ET on December 12, 2007 and 11:59 p.m. ET on January 2, 2008.

Contest Competition #6: The object of the competition is for contestants to create and upload a video for a fictional television show (i.e., pilot). Videos for Competition #6 must be received between 12:01 a.m. ET on January 02, 2008 and 11:59 p.m. ET on January 14, 2008.

Contest Competition #7: The object of the competition is for contestants to create and upload a video./commercial for Attack of the Show. Videos for Competition #7 must be received between 12:01 a.m. ET on January 16, 2008 and 11:59 p.m. ET on January 28, 2008.

Contest Competition #8: The object of the competition is for contestants to create and upload a sketch comedy video. Videos for Competition #8 must be received between 12:01 a.m. ET on January 30, 2008 and 11:59 p.m. ET on February 11, 2008.

Video file must be 100MB or smaller and in .mov (QuickTime), .mpg (MPEG), .mp4 (MPEG-4), .wmv (Windows Media) or .avi (AVI) .3gp or .3g2 file format. Video can only be a minimum of 30 seconds and a maximum of five minutes.

Limit one (1) Entry per person/email address per Competition.

There will be three (3) independent rounds of judging.

     - Round 1 judging will be based on the following criteria: 1) creativity (50%); 2) originality (25%); and 3) applicability to Competition objective (25%).

     - Round 2 is a popular vote.

     - Round 3 judging will be based on the following criteria: 1) creativity (50%); 2) originality (25%); and 3) on-screen appeal (25%).

The Grand Prize will have an ARV between $3,999.99 and $4,999.99. The details of the Grand Prize will be announced on “Attack of the Show” and will be featured on the Ziddio.com Contest entry webpage no later than January 1, 2008.

Eight (8) Semifinalist Prizes (one (1) per Competition) will be awarded (each a “Semifinalist Prize”). Each Semifinalist Prize will have an Approximate Retail Value (”ARV”) between $199.99 and $399.99.

The details of each Semifinalist Prize will be announced on G4’s live television program, “Attack of the Show,” and will be featured on the Ziddio.com Contest entry webpage on the first day of the applicable Contest Period.
