Green Your Routine
The makers of the new film The 11th Hour, starring Leonardo DiCaprio, are hoping to inspire global action with an environmental rallying cry. Here’s your chance to join this noble effort.
You may already be taking action to help the environment; or maybe you just needed a kick start. Either way, this is the perfect way to spread the word. Just upload a video that demonstrates an idea for reducing your carbon footprint. Whether it’s recycling printers, carpooling, buying eco-friendly products, or something more innovative, we want to see it! Not only will you inspire others, but the creator of the most compelling video could win all this:
- 2 roundtrip plane tickets to Los Angeles
- 2 nights at eco-friendly hotel The Ambrose
- 2 VIP passes to the annual Global Green Academy Awards party
Your file can be submitted in any format but it should not exceed 100MB in size or 10 minutes in length. One winner will be announced on October 25. So get started now, and show everyone that it’s easy being green!
The object of the Contest is for you, the contestant, to upload a 10 minute (or less) video demonstrating your own “great idea” for how to enact one small adjustment in your daily routine to make your existence “more green”. Video can showcase: 1) how contestant is implementing the change; and/or 2) how contestant plans to do so; and/or 3) how easy it is for others to do the same. Contestants are encouraged to be creative not only in their “great idea” but also in how s/he shares the concept with Ziddio and Global Green.
