HealthInsuranceFinders.com Launches Video Contest - Aspiring directors, cinematographers, scriptwriters, and actors are asked to create a 30 second spot that draws attention to the importance of knowing your options when searching for and choosing a health insurance policy.
Know Your Options’ Contest Will Award One Young Filmmaker $3,000 And Draw Attention To The Importance of Understanding Your Health Insurance Options.
Construct your :30 second spot around the theme “Know Your Options.”
We want people to know that healthinsurancefinders.com is the place to go to learn about all of their health insurance options and connect with agents in their area.
What We’re Looking For:
Here are some tips that will help your spot get chosen as a finalists:
- Make if fun, funny, or provocative. We want people to share the message they get from the video. Think of a video you’ve shared with others through YouTube or sent to friends and family in an email.
- Focus on the theme and visit the Ideas for Getting Started section for ideas.
- Be original.

An endtag with our logo and URL displayed for 5 seconds at the end of the clip. Download it here.
If you shoot on private property, use crew or actors, make sure that you have a signed release.
Entries for the contest will be accepted between September 4 and October 15, 2007. On October 29, 2007, the top ten finalists chosen by the company will be posted on their website and open to voting by the public for two weeks. The finalist receiving the most votes will receive the grand prize of $3,000.
- You must post your spot online and send us the link. YouTube and other video sharing sites are acceptable platforms for hosting your spot.
- Finalist will be asked to provide their spot in full-screen (either 640×480 or 720×486) on DVD or in QuickTime format.
Sponsor will judge all eligible entries based on the following ranking criteria: 33.33% Creativity/Originality; 33.33% relevancy to the theme of the Contest; and, 33.33% Persuasiveness of the Submission. 10 finalists will be selected.
The Finalist Submission with the highest number of votes on November 15, 2007 shall be deemed the grand prize winner and shall be awarded a grand prize of $3,000 - must be a resident of the United States.
While entrants continue to own their entries, they grant exclusive, royalty-free perpetual right to exhibit, display and otherwise distribute the Submission via AllHealth’s website.
