Here’s a chance to finace your next
“Our YouTube gift card contest is a great way for consumers to inspire us and each other with creative home
Submissions are open from November 10, 2007 to December 15, 2007.
Winners will be announced on or about December 17.
Follow three simple steps to enter:
Dream It. Start building that mental checklist of the projects you would tackle with a big gift card. A surprise kitchen remodel? Neighborhood service project? The ultimate garage workshop? It’s your call.
Shoot It. Now the fun part – pick up a video camera and enlist a “director” to film you describing the home improvement makeover you have in mind. Walk around the house, survey friends and relatives for their ideas, or get creative with a bigger production.
Win It. Beginning on November 10, 2007, you can upload your video to The Home Depot Holiday Gift Card Contest Group for everyone to see.

Unfortunately, this contest is a complete mess. Home Depot allowed the winning video to re-edit their video (to remove many copyright violations) after the contest was over, just to keep them as winner. Even though they disqualified others for breaking the rules. Now they are deleting any message that links to information they think threatens their contest. Read this and much more at this url…
