Requirements
To enter, upload your video and/or a collection of photos of the room you want remodeled and tell us why Vanilla Ice and his crew should give your house the VIP treatment!
All submissions must be received by the Sponsor on or before 5:00 PM ET on July 2, 2012
During the Entry Period, visit DIY Network’s website located at www.diynetwork.com (the “Contest Website”) and complete and submit an entry form along with photograph(s) and/or a Contest video that meets the requirements.
Eligibility
The “Ice My House” Contest (the “Contest”) is open only to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States or the District of Columbia, twenty-one (21) or older at the time of entry. Entrant must be the home owner of record for the room that is selected to be the subject of the makeover in this Contest and willing to comply with all the requirements and obligations in these Official Rules or as otherwise required by Sponsor, including Sponsor’s determination that entrant’s background, following a check, is appropriate.
Judging Criteria
After the conclusion of the Entry Period, and vetting of the rooms, each submission will be reviewed by a team of judges (“Judges”) assembled by Sponsor, who will review and judge all eligible submissions based on the following judging criteria (collectively, the “Judging Criteria”):
33% based on creativity;
33% based on entrant’s personality as expressed in submission materials; and
34% based on the uniqueness and suitability of the room/space to be renovated
Based on the total score the Judges assign to each submission using the Judging Criteria, two (2) winning submissions will be ultimately selected by the Judges and will be potential “Winners”, subject to confirmation that the potential Winners have met the eligibility requirements and complied with these Official Rules.
Prize
Two (2) grand prize winners (each, a “Winner”) will each receive one (1) prize package (a “Grand Prize”) consisting of a makeover of respective Winner’s room. Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”) of each Grand Prize is up to Thirty Thousand Dollars ($30,000.00) (actual value may vary depending on the room that will be the subject of the makeover).

Hi my name is Jennifer daughter of Isabel and I am writing to you for she deserves to have her dream come true. My mom isabel spends 8 hrs at work at a sewing machine and when she comes home she only wants to relax in a fresh place but comes home to her backyard and instead of thinking of resting on a chair she begins to pull the weeds out, watering the dead grass, and ends up upset at the fact that she can’t afford to sit and rest when she comes home to this backyard. I love my mom dearly and I really hope you can help I will try and upload a video of the backyard. Thanks and hope she wins.
