Make a Splash for Water Safety – $5,000 grant for swimming lessons – Open to all – Due June 15, 2012

Is your community committed to water safety? If so, you could win a visit from Olympic gold medlist Cullen Jones and the Make a Splash with Cullen Jones Tour presented by Phillips 66!
Presented by the USA Swimming Foundation and Phillips 66, the Make a Spalsh for Water Safety Video Contest is seeking your video entry.

Requirements

Entries due by: June 15, 2012
Finalists selected: June 17, 2012
Voting opens: June 18, 2012
Winner announced: June 30, 2012
Videos must be submitted through the www.usaswimmingfoundation.org website no later than midnight on June 15, 2012.
Videos must be no longer than three minutes.

Eligibility

To be eligible for the contest, the location submitted must have a Make a Splash local partner organization within 30 miles. To see if your city has a local partner organization, visit www.makeasplash.org.

Judging Criteria

The five videos that do the best job showcasing their city’s commitment to water safety, will be showcased as finalists and put forward for public voting to select our winner.

Prize

The winning city will win a visit from Cullen in September, and we will award a local learn-to-swim organization a $5,000 grant to provide swimming lessons to local kids!
