The incredible edible egg™ jingle is a tune familiar to so many Americans, and now it’s back with a musical bang! The iconic jingle is turning 35 this year, and to celebrate, America’s egg farmers are launching a new version of the jingle and encouraging Americans to create their own rendition in the Incredible Edible Egg Jingle Contest on Facebook.

Requirements

Create a video (at least 30 seconds but no more than 2 minutes) with your version of the new Incredible Edible Egg Jingle. You can edit the lyrics, change up the melody…whatever you need to do to make it your own! Once you have a completed video, go to the Incredible Edible Egg Facebook page and click on the “Enter the Contest” button. Fill out all information required on the registration page, initial in the appropriate place and upload your video!
• Timing/Due Date: Contest closes on November 6, 2012 at 11:59 p.m. CST.

Eligibility

Must reside in United States and be at least 13 years of age to enter.

Judging Criteria

HOW WINNERS ARE SELECTED: Voting Phase: During the Voting Phase, the Submissions will be posted in an online gallery for public voting on the Incredible Edible Egg’s Facebook page. Persons who meet the eligibility criteria as set forth in Section 1 will be invited to vote for the Submission they believe is best.
Limit: Each person may vote one (1) time per day during the voting phase. Multiple votes received from any person or email address in excess of the stated number will be void. Finalists are prohibited from obtaining votes by any fraudulent or inappropriate means, including, without limitation, offering prizes or other inducements to members of the public, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. Subject to the Finalists’ compliance with these Official Rules, the Finalist whose Submissions receives the highest number of valid votes during the Voting Phase will be deemed the potential Grand Prize winner. 2nd and 3rd place winners will be deemed based on the amount of valid votes during the Voting Phase as well. In the event of a tie, the entrant whose Submission received the highest score for “Vocal Quality/Ability,” as determined by the qualified judges in their sole discretion, will be deemed the potential winner from among the tied finalists. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to select alternate winners should the voting appear to have been tampered with or manipulated in any way. The decisions of The American Egg Board are final and binding on all matters relating to this Contest.

Prize

o Grand prize includes a new iPhone® 5* (32GB), new iPad® 3 * (wifi + cellular, 32GB), Bang & Olufsen BeoSound 8 and $400 in iTunes® gift cards.
o Second prize is a new iPad® 3 * (wifi + cellular, 32GB)
o Third prize is a karaoke machine.
o Weekly, random drawings will award four winners a one-year supply of eggs.
