For the past five years, people of the Northwest have seen themselves, and their friends and neighbors, featured in the PEMCO Mutual Insurance Company (“PEMCO”) “We’re A Lot Like You” campaign. So far, it has spotlighted unique local types such as:
• Sandals and Socks Guy
• Relentless Recycler
• Goat Renter Guy
• First Snowflake Freakout Lady
Now it’s your turn. If you represent a new, unique Northwest type – or know one! – grab your video camera and tell us your story. Consider it your audition.
If your video is selected, you just might show up in a future PEMCO ad, signed off with the tagline: “WE’RE A LOT LIKE YOU. A LITTLE DIFFERENT.”

You must be 18 years or older to be eligible to participate in the video contest.
Make it new and different, something PEMCO hasn’t seen before. You don’t have to do it in the style of the commercials, but you should feature someone uniquely Northwest in a way that’s uniquely you. If it evokes that “I know exactly what type of person you’re talking about!” feeling, then you are well on your way!
PEMCO will choose the 12 winners of the PEMCO client awards, including the $5,000 Grand Prize and also the Early Entry Prize winner. The three Voting Awards are chosen by popular vote.
