Audiosocket and MOFILM take your band to Lollapalooza!!!

Audiosocket and MOFILM are always looking out for the freshest musical talent, and we want to take you and your band to Lollapalooza, with VIP tickets, and have you perform at the MOFILM Lollapalooza Video Awards.

Entering is easy. You just need to visit our contest page and upload a video of your band, ideally playing live but we love to see your music videos too.

Requirements

• TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:

A Video File must be submitted – the Video file (s) (all copyrighted material will be removed).

The Video file size should be kept at or under 100 MB for quicker upload/encoding time (max file size is 300MB). Video Files must be provided in one of the following file formats: .MPG; .MOV; .AVI; .WMV; .MP4; .M4V

Finalists may be asked to provide the original audio and video files used during production of the entry for broadcast purposes. This may include uncompressed QuickTime files, final audio mix and/or separate audio tracks for dialogue, music, and effects. These items are not mandatory to become a Finalist.
• ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

Submission must be primarily in English.

Once uploaded, Submission will not be returned. MOFILM or Participating Brands may, in its sole discretion, remove, delete and/or forfeit Submission it deems inappropriate or otherwise non-compliant with the Contest.

In the event of the winner(s) not being US Citizen. You will be required to obtain a US working visa, you acknowledge that you know of no reason why US immigration would refuse to grant you one. If you are unsure please look at this link

Eligibility

You are over the age of 18 at the date of entry.

Judging Criteria

There will then a brief public voting period where you need to get as much support as possible from your friends, family and fan base. The winners will be picked by a jury from MOFILM, but being popular will certainly help you cause!

Prize

The winning band will be flown to Chicago to perform during the MOFILM Lollapalooza 2012 Awards Ceremony on Thursday, August 2nd. They will also be given a minimum of two VIP tickets for Lollapalooza 2012. Travel and accommodation will be provided for a maximum of four band members, with a hotel stay of four nights) 2nd – 5th August 2012
