The VidOpp Video Contest Community

Recent college grads can submit a video of 60 seconds or less either showing or telling how they would spread the word about Toyota’s $1,000 college grad rebate.

Requirements

The video submission period runs through May 8, and during that time registered users can rate their favorite videos.
VIDEO GUIDELINES AND CONTENT RESTRICTIONS: Each Video:
i. Must not exceed sixty (60) seconds in length;
ii. Must not exceed 10 MB in size;
iii. Must be in one of the following file formats: .mov, .mpg, .wmv or .avi;
iv. Must be in English;
v. Must be original, created solely by the Contestant, and may not be plagiarized,
have been previously published or previously won a prize or award;
vi. Must not have been submitted previously in a promotion of any kind;
vii. Must not contain material that violates or infringes another’s rights, including
but not limited to privacy, publicity, copyrights , trademarks or other intellectual
property rights;
viii. Must not disparage Sponsor or Sponsor’s products and/or brands,
Administrator, or any other person or party affiliated with the promotion and
administration of this Promotion;
ix. Must not in any way, either visibly or otherwise, contain any brand names,
logos or trademarks other than those of Sponsor;
x. Must not, other than as set forth in subsection xi. below, include personallyidentifiable
information of any person other than Contestant. Should the
Contestant include personally identifiable information about him/herself in
his/her Video, Contestant acknowledges and agrees that such information will
be disclosed publicly and Contestant is solely responsible for any
consequences thereof;
xi. If any persons other than the Contestant appear in the Video, the Contestant is
responsible for obtaining, prior to sending the Entry, any and all releases and
consents necessary to permit the exhibition and use of the Video by Sponsor
as set forth in these Official Rules. If any person appearing in the Video is
under the age of majority in their state of residence, the signature of his/her
parent or legal guardian is required on each release. A signed release is
required by all Video participants for an Entry to be eligible for the Contest and
Sweepstakes Prize voting.
xii. Contestants may not be, nor may Contestant work with parties in conjunction
with their Entry, who: 1) are represented under contract (e.g., by a talent agent
or manager) that would limit or impair Sponsor’s ability to display the Video in
any media form; 2) have an acting or modeling contract that would make their
appearance in the Video a violation of any third party rights; or 3) are under any
other contractual relationship, including but not limited to guild and/or union
memberships, that may prohibit them from participating fully in the Contest, or
from allowing Sponsor to use royalty-free, the Video worldwide in all media in
perpetuity.
xiii. Must not contain material that is inappropriate, indecent, lewd, pornographic,
obscene, hateful, tortious, defamatory, slanderous or libelous;
xiv. Must not contain material that promotes bigotry, racism, hatred or harm against
any group or individual or promotes discrimination based on race, gender,
religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation or age; and
xv. Must not contain material that is unlawful, in violation of, or contrary to the laws
or regulations in any jurisdiction where Video is created.

Eligibility

• Must be 18 years and older
• Graduated from a two- or four-year college within the past 2 years (similar to rebate criteria)

Judging Criteria

There will then be a week-long voting period where TFS judges will select the top 10 video submissions. On May 16, the 10 finalists will be featured on the contest site, and registered voters will then have the chance to vote for their favorites. A combination of voter results and judging feedback will determine the winners.
