If you are a fan of AMC shows like The Walking Dead, Mad Men, Breaking Bad and Hell on Wheels, how would you feel if you suddenly lost AMC?
That’s what recently happened to subscribers of DISH, which dropped AMC from its channel lineup right before the Breaking Bad premiere in July.
This viral video contest is for you to help express what DISH customers must be feeling right now about losing AMC’s award-winning shows. You might even be one of these customers (although that’s not a requirement).

Requirements

• Participants must submit a video 30-90 seconds in length
• Videos should include an expression of dissatisfaction or unhappiness with DISH because AMC and/or its shows are missing from the service. Alternatively, you can make your video about one of these related themes: the lengths to which you’d go, as a current DISH subscriber, to get back one or more of the below programs or the impact, as a DISH subscriber, the loss of these programs has had on your TV life
• Videos should be inspired by one of these AMC shows: The Walking Dead, Breaking Bad, Mad Men or Hell on Wheels
• Videos are encouraged to be submitted in the highest quality and may be uploaded in HD. Poor production quality may be a cause for rejection
• Please do not use images, video, audio, logos or other material taken from the shows or the AMC logo in your entry.
• Submissions must be comprised of the participant’s original material (i.e. the participant cannot use or incorporate third-party copyright protected content/material(s), or any other content/material)
• Videos should be appropriate for any audience

Eligibility

The Contest is open only to those who are at least 18 years of age and are a legal resident of the fifty United States at the time of entry. Proof of residency and age may be required.

Judging Criteria

(a) “Host Choice Winner” is the selection of AMC. On or about the “Winner Selection Date” set forth above and/or on the Contest Site, the Host Choice Winner and Additional Winner(s), if any, will be selected by the Sponsor-designated judges from among all eligible entries received on the basis of: (i) substance; (ii) creativity; and (iii) originality. Based on the above criteria, each of which will be given equal weight, the eligible entrant with the highest cumulative score will be selected as the Host Choice Winner. Decisions of judges are final and cannot be appealed. In the event of a tie, the entrant involved in the tie with the highest combined creativity/originality score will be selected.

(b) “Highest Voted Winner.” After the conclusion of the Entry Period, all eligible entries will be displayed on the Contest Site during the Voting Period for public voting by the Sponsor community on the basis of: (i) substance; (ii) creativity; and (iii) originality. Based on the above criteria, each of which shall be given equal weight, the top highest voted submission (the “Highest Voted Submission”) will be selected as the Highest Voted Winner. Decisions are final and cannot be appealed. In the event of a tie, the Highest Voted Submission with the highest combined creativity/originality score will be selected.
(c) “Highest Viewed Winner”. Based on the number of views the submission receives at the conclusion of the Voting Period.

One winner will receive:
• $4,000 Cash Prize
• Canon 7D Camera (MSRP $1,549)
• An opportunity to receive feedback and discuss your work with AMC’s Senior Vice President of Production
• Exposure on AMC owned social media channels
People’s Choice
The highest voted will receive:
• $1,000 Cash Prize
• Exposure on AMC owned social media channels

Highest Viewed
The submission that has reached the highest number of YouTube views at the time that voting is closed will receive:
• $1,000 Cash Prize
• All available seasons of your favorite AMC series on DVD, choosing from The Walking Dead, Breaking Bad, Mad Men and Hell on Wheels.
