There comes a time when repairing appliances is just too much. Although they have all the appliance parts you need to repair your appliance, to introduce everyappliancepart.com they want to see who needs a new appliance the most. Our grand prize winner will win a kitchen full of new appliances! There are 10 other appliance prizes as well. Now it’s time to be creative and show the world why you or your organization deserves new appliances! Choose the best of the 6 categories and upload your 1 to 3 minute video for your chance to win.

Requirements

To enter the contest, visit http://contest.everyappliancepart.com and submit an online video between 30 seconds and 3 minutes in length. There are six categories in which you may submit videos:

Most Creative / Weirdest Video
Most Unique Use for an Appliance
Best Song and Dance Video
Best Superhero Themed Video
Most Creative way to keep an appliance working
Best Explanation of Why You Need New Laundry Equipment

You may not enter the same video in more than one category. Videos submitted in previous video contests are ineligible. You may submit as many videos in as many categories, as long as you don’t submit the same video into multiple categories.

Entries must be submitted in English. The contestant certifies that he or she owns any and all materials submitted to www.everyappliancepart.com for the Contest and that he or she has all necessary rights and permissions to use such materials, without any restrictions or limitations on the contestant’s right to submit or Sponsor’s right to use the entry;
by entering into the Contest, the contestant is not contravening any provisions of the Copyright Act, including the educational fair use provision;
the entry does not defame or invade publicity rights or privacy of any person, living or deceased, or otherwise infringe upon any person’s personal or proprietary rights; and
the entry is not offensive, obscene or inappropriate in any way.
All entries will be reviewed by Sponsor and Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify and choose not to display any entry it deems to be inappropriate, offensive or is not in keeping with Sponsor’s image, in its sole discretion.

Once a contestant has submitted a video for the Contest, such contestant agrees that Sponsor shall own the entry submitted (including all rights embodied therein) and that Sponsor and its designees may exploit, edit, modify, display and distribute the entry and all elements of such entry, including, without limitation, the names and likenesses of any persons or locations embodied therein, in any and all media now known or not currently known, throughout the world in perpetuity without compensation, permission or notification to entrant or any third party.

Any personally identifiable information collected as part of the Contest may be used to contact contestants with regard to the contest; all such collection and use shall be in accordance with Sponsor’s Privacy Policy at http://www.everyappliancepart.com/privacypolicy.php.
Due Date

The Contest begins on July 23, 2012 at 12:00 p.m. Eastern Time (“ET”), ends on October 12, 2012 at 11:59 p.m. ET (the “Contest Period”) and consists of an entry/voting period and a voting-only period. All video submissions must be received during the entry/voting period which starts at12:00:01 a.m. Eastern Standard Time (“EST”) on July 23, 2012, and concludes at 11:59:59 p.m. EST on September 28, 2012. Voting will continue until October 12, 2012 at 11:59 p.m. ET.

Eligibility

Contestants must be at least 18 years of age at the time of entry, and legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia. Void in Puerto Rico and where prohibited by law or regulation. The Contest is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws. Any entries not eligible for any reason will be disqualified from winning any award or prize and ineligible entries may be deleted from www.everyappliancepart.com. Any entry that is awarded a prize and is later determined to have been ineligible, will be required to return any prize of monetary or material value within 7 days upon notification of disqualification and ineligibility. Employees of everyappliancepartpart.com and its subsidiaries, affiliated companies, agents, and their immediate family (defined as parents, spouse, children, siblings, grandparents), and all those with whom such employees are domiciled, are NOT eligible to participate in the Contest.

Judging Criteria

Videos in the individual categories will be judged by the public. Anyone visiting the site can vote for a video. Judging criteria used by Sponsor to determine the Grand Prize will include: creativity, originality, usefulness to viewers, and compelling nature of the story. Views and ratings on video entries may also be taken into consideration. The Grand Prize Winner will be selected by the management of everyappliancepart.com. The winners will be announced on or about October 15, 2012. Sponsor reserves the right not to award a prize in the event it receives an insufficient number of eligible entries that meet the minimum judging criteria, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. Sponsor will supervise the voting and judging. Contestants agree to be bound by these rules and the decisions of the judges, whose decisions are final.

Prize

Only one prize will be awarded per contestant. If a video is selected as the Grand Prize winner, they will not be eligible to win the category. All prizes include curbside delivery to a location in the continental United States. The winner is responsible for set-up and/or installation of the appliances.

The Grand Prize winner will receive the following: Refrigerator Model# GX5FHTXVY – MSRP $1,899, Range Model# GGE388LXS MSRP: $1,399 or Range Model# GGG388LXS – MSRP: $1,599 and Dishwasher Model # WDF510PAYS – MSRP: $499.00. The winner will pick which model range they would like.
The winner of the “Most Creative / Weirdest Video” category will receive a Frigidaire Range Model # FGGF3056KF – MSRP $1,249 or Range Model# FGEF3056KF – MSRP $1,199. The winner will pick which model range they would like.
The winner of the “Most Unique Use for an Appliance” category will receive a Frigidaire Washer model# FAFW3801LW – MSRP $ 749.
The winner of the “Best Song and Dance” category will receive a General Electric Range Model# JB850STSS – MSRP $ 1,499 or Model# JGB810SETSS – MSRP $1,499. The winner will pick which model range they would like.
The winner of the “Best Superhero Themed Video” category will receive a Frigidaire Refrigerator Model# FGUS2647LF – MSRP $1,699.
The winner of the “Most Creative Way to Keep an Appliance Working” category will receive a General Electric Refrigerator Model# GFSF2HCYWW – MSRP $1,499.
The Top 5 winners of the “Best Videos Explaining Why You Need New Laundry Equipment” category will each receive their choice of 1 of 4 Whirlpool Electric Dryers (WED4800XQ0 – MSRP $549) or a General Electric Washer Model# GTWN4250MWS – MSRP $599). The five winners will be ranked by the votes that their submission received. The contestant with the most votes will select first, the contestant with the second most votes will select second, the contestant with the third most votes will select third, the contestant with the forth most votes will select forth, and the contestant with the fifth most votes will select fifth.
The winner of the vote drawing will receive an Apple iPad WI-FI 32GB (3rd generation – MSRP $599).
If the prize mentioned is not available, the Sponsor will provide a similar prize in it’s place.
