Oh Chuck! I Blew My Cash – The Schwab Facebook page is hosting a contest inviting the general public to submit their own true stories of how they blew their cash.

How to Enter
To enter, visit Sponsor’s official Facebook page (www.facebook.com/charlesschwab) during the Promotion Period, click on the contest tab, “like” the page if you have not already, and allow the Contest application access to your Facebook profile and basic information. You will be routed to the Official Online Entry Form. Complete the registration form, provide your description in 300 characters or less of something you purchased and how that purchase was one you later regretted, upload your photo or video of the item or of you with the item and submit the form, description and photo or video (your “Submission”) as instructed. See details and Submission Requirements elsewhere in these rules. ALL SUBMISSIONS MUST BE RECEIVED BY 11:59 p.m. ET on 06/26/2012.
Limit one (1) Submission per person during the Promotion Period.
Your Submission consists of three elements: your completed Official Online Entry Form, your description in 300 characters or less of something you purchased and how that purchase was one you later regretted, and a photo or video of the object or you with the object.
Participation in the Contest is limited to persons aged eighteen (18) or older who are legal adults in their place of residence, who are legal residents of and physically residing in the 50 United States or the District of Columbia, and who have an existing Schwab account or credit rating sufficient to qualify for a Schwab account.
Visitors to the page will be able to determine the finalists for the contest by voting on which stories they like the best, and Schwab will determine the ultimate winners.
From among the up to 20 Finalists determined through online voting, a panel of judges consisting of Schwab employees will select one (1) Grand Prize Winner and four (4) First Prize Winners, subject to further verification of eligibility.
The judges will evaluate all Finalist Submissions applying the following judging criteria: (1) humorous and compelling nature of entry – 50%; (2) unique nature of item or circumstances described – 25%; (3) adherence to contest assignment – 25%.
The grand prize will be $10,000 deposited in a Schwab brokerage account.
(4) Four Runner-Up Prizes of $5,000 deposited into a Schwab One Brokerage Account
