Attention patriots: they’re looking for paws-itively presidential pets to lead the pack this fall. Enter Petplan’s Wag the Vote video contest for the chance to win $5,000 for yourself, PLUS $5,000 for your favorite animal charity! If your pet is ready to clean up America – one table scrap at a time – grab your camera and capture that presidential personality on film. Enter the race in three easy steps: upload your video to YouTube, fill out the form to nominate your pet, and rally your friends and family to Wag the Vote. The most popular tails from the campaign trail will be named finalists for the grand prize, so vote early and often!

Requirements

Objective of the video is to nominate your presidential pet to “lead the pack.” Video must be submitted via YouTube. Also, video may not be more than 3 minutes long (180 seconds). The text entry consists of a title and body. The title must not be longer than 40 characters (with spaces). The body must not be longer than 400 characters (with spaces). The number of entries are unlimited per day. It is not necessary to reference Petplan in the video.
Petplan “Wag the Vote” Video Contest (“Contest”) begins at 12:00:00 PM Eastern Time (“ET”) on August 30, 2012 and ends at 12:00:00 PM ET on November 8, 2012 (the “Contest Period”).

Eligibility

The Contest is open to legal residents of the 50 United States or the District of Columbia and Canada, (excluding Province of Quebec, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands and all other U.S. territories and possessions) who are 18 years of age or older at the time of Contest registration. Employees, officers and directors of Fetch, Inc. (the “Sponsor”), Brian Communications and Realtime Media LLC (the “Administrator”), their respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising, contest, fulfillment and marketing agencies, (collectively, “Promotion Parties”) their immediate families (parent, child, sibling & spouse and their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside) and persons living in the same households as such individuals (whether related or not) are not eligible to participate in the Contest. Entries that have won a previous award are not eligible.

Judging Criteria

At the end of the Contest Period, one (1) Grand Prize (defined below) winner will be determined by the highest amount of votes received throughout the Contest.

Prize

The Grand Prize winner will receive one (1) five thousand dollar (US $5,000.00) check (“Contest Prize”). Also, the Grand Prize winner will be permitted to specify which specified registered 501c(3) charity will receive a donation of five thousand dollars (US $5,000.00) The specified registered 501c(3) charity must advocate for, support or advance the health and wellbeing of pets. The Sponsor must approve the charity being selected. The Contest Prize and donation collectively represent the “Grand Prize.” Odds of winning depend on the amount and quality of Contest Entries. Only one (1) Grand Prize will be awarded. The Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”) of the Contest Prize is five thousand dollars (US $5,000.00).
