LittleBigPlanet™ Karting Video Contest: Take a ride through the world’s imagination.  LittleBigPlanet™ is one of the most loved and popular PlayStation franchises. Based on the themes of Play, Create, Share users love it because they can create their own levels, where the only limit is their imagination.

Now, you are invited to free your imagination & create a TV ad that will be used to launch LittleBigPlanet Karting in the United States. Your ad will feature on national TV and win you $25,000 plus a trip to Vegas!
LittleBigPlanet™ Karting features races, battles, and endless mini-games. It’s highly social and you can compete against friends at home or online, create your own courses and access millions of tracks and games shared by the LBP community.

Requirements

For your entry, we want a 25 second TV spot that brings to life the thought of LittleBigPlanet™: Take a ride through the world’s imagination.
• A Video File must be submitted – the Video file (s) must be no more than the maximum duration stated in the Competition Brief (all copyrighted material will be removed).

The Video file size should be kept at or under 100 MB for quicker upload/encoding time (max file size is 300MB). Video Files must be provided in one of the following file formats: .MPG; .MOV; .AVI; .WMV; .MP4; .M4V

Finalists may be asked to provide the original audio and video files used during production of the entry for broadcast purposes. This may include uncompressed QuickTime files, final audio mix and/or separate audio tracks for dialogue, music, and effects. These items are not mandatory to become a Finalist
• ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Submission must be primarily in English or subtitled.

Eligibility

Over the age of 18 at the date of entry.

Judging Criteria

See the brief for full details but really let your creativity go to town, we want to see a wide range of films, from animation or live action, to mixed media. Decide how you want to express yourself and go for it!

You don’t need to worry about adding pack shots, availability dates or end frames – just concentrate on telling your story n the 25 seconds you have available, make each moment count.

Ten finalists will be selected to feature on the LittleBigPlanet™ Facebook page so that the fans of the game can pick their favourite, the popularity of the films will be considered by the judges when they pick their overall winner.

Prize

• $25,000
• Trip for two people to Las Vegas with three nights hotel accommodation
• 9 finalists to receive $500 for online usage on LittleBigPlanet™ Karting Facebook page
• Potentially five further spots to be selected with a prize of $5,000 each
