The VidOpp Video Contest Community

Did you ever think about how items end up on the police auction website, Property Room? We want to tell those crazy stories and we need your help!

Simply choose an item from Property Room and create a short video based on how you think it found it’s way to our website. You could win $2,500 and exposure on PropertyRoom.com – access to more than 400,000 people!
Have fun with it! We get some weird and unique items on Property Room. Was it a critical piece of evidence in a police case? Did it appear in the lost and found at the zoo or a lost baggage claim at the airport? Just where did those samurai swords come from?

Requirements

Videos should be no more than 3 minutes long.
You must have permission to use the people and content (including music) in your videos. Videos should not include defamatory or illegal content. Full rules and regulations are here: http://www.propertyroom.com/policies/video-contest-rules-and-regulations

Eligibility

Open only to legal residents of any one of the 50 United States or the District of Columbia who are 18 years of age or older at time of entry.

Judging Criteria

At the end of the contest, two winners will be selected:
• The Property Room team will chose one winner based on the team’s favorite entry –these videos will be judged on creativity, originality and overall appeal. (We like to laugh!)
• The second winner will be chosen by popular vote during a voting period from November 12th – 16th.

Prize

Two Grand Prize Winners will each receive $2,500. One winner will be determined by public vote, and one winner will be selected by a panel of judges from Property Room.
