The VidOpp Video Contest Community

VIPorbit Mobile Relationship Manager is an iPhone and iPad app designed to help people manage their contacts, calendars, and communications, all in one slick app. We have user videos (interview format) and a few staff-made funny videos, but we’re hoping to get some creative and community-buildng videos made by users (novice or pro) of our app. Anyone can download VIPorbit for free from the iTunes app store, but downloading the app isn’t required to enter the contest. You can learn about it from the website or even from the various videos on our YouTube channel (www.youtube.com/viporbitsoftware) then have fun making your own video (3 minutes or shorter).

Once the entry period ends (Aug. 1-Aug. 31), we’ll post all the videos and have an open voting period. Site visitors can vote once a day and entrants can be as creative in soliciting votes as you’d like to be.

Requirements

To enter, a user must submit a video segment (of no more than 3 minutes in length) via email to media@viporbit.com, including name and contact information. If desired, entries may be sent via a file sharing/file sending service, such as a Dropbox, SendThisFile, or YouSendIt. By entering this contest and uploading your submission, you irrevocably grant to VIPorbit Software and their agents the unconditional and perpetual right to post, display, publish, use, adapt, edit and/or modify such submission in any way, in any and all media, for any purpose, without limitation, and without consideration to you.
Due Date(s):

Entire contest period runs August 1, 2012 through September 23, 2012.

Video submissions due by 11:59 a.m. on August 31, 2012.
Voting ends at 11:59 a.m. on September 23, 2012.

Eligibility

Must be 18 years or older to enter. Entrants may submit only one video.

Judging Criteria

Site visitors will be able to vote for one video per day through the voting period. Entrants are encouraged to solicit friends, family, colleagues, and even strangers to visit the site and vote for their video.

Prize

One (1) Grand Prize Winner will receive an Optoma TS551 Multimedia Projector, HDMI cable, HDMI iDevice adapter, and computer speakers. Approximate retail value (“ARV”) of the Grand Prize is $500.00.
