Orbitz founded the Vacation Party to fight for every American’s right to vacation.
Now, we need a candidate to lead us to victory and/or a shrimp buffet.

Requirements

Make a campaign ad to persuade Orbitz Vacation Party voters why you should be their ofﬁcial candidate – and get $25,000 in free travel. Are you the world’s greatest vacationer? Have you been dreaming up the best vacation ever? Do you look smokin’ hot in a speedo? Most importantly, how will you inspire Americans everywhere to go forth and take the vacations they deserve?
1. Participants make a 60-second video persuading voters why they should lead our party, and upload it by 8/27.
2. Starting 9/6, party members can view finalists and vote for their favorite.
3. The winning candidate will show Americans how it’s done – by campaigning across the nation, then enjoying $25,000 in free travel.

Eligibility

Orbitz Vacation Party Candidate Contest(the “Promotion”) is open only to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia who are at least twenty-one (21) years old at the time of entry and who did not purchase any equipment for the purposes of entering this Promotion. Employees of Orbitz, LLC, BBDO Worldwide, Inc., ePrize, LLC, and any of their respective related companies, parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, and agents and any agencies or other companies involved in the development or execution of the Promotion or production or distribution of Promotion materials, as well as the immediate family (spouse, parents, siblings, and children) and household members of each such employee are not eligible. The Promotion is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited. Judging Criteria

Our panel of judges will choose three ﬁnalists, based on your video and a quick phone interviews, using a 100-point scale:
o Entertainment Value [0–25]
o Persuasiveness [0–25]
o Overall Orbitz-iness (witty, ballsy, colorful, loud, pro-vacation) [0–25]
o Interview Performance [0–25]
Panel will be composed of travel/advertising experts selected by Orbitz, including employees of Orbitz and BBDO (our lucky ad agency). Once three ﬁnalists are chosen, Orbitz Vacation Party members will be able to view the videos and vote for their favorite.
