So Practical, It’s Radical College Video Contest – Renovo Bicycle – College Students – Due October 28, 2012

The Rainforest Alliance challenges you to submit an animated or live video that documents what you are doing on your campus that is “So Practical, It’s Radical!” How are you making your campus more sustainable? Have you started a recycling program, created a school garden or taught a class about campus sourcing? Grab your video camera, smartphone or other filming devices and submit a two-minute video about your sustainable initiatives on campus!
Requirements
To enter, join the So Practical, Its Radical College Video Contest group on Vimeo and upload your video to the group pool.
Video must be no longer than two minutes and must follow the Vimeo compression guidelines.
Deadline for submissions is October 28, 2012 at 11:59 PM (EDT).
Eligibility
The contest is open to college students in the United States. Submissions can be made individually or by a group of up to three students.
Judging Criteria
Videos will be judged based on three criteria, each equal in weight:
Power and clarity of message
Originality and creativity
Visual appeal and audio quality
Prize
GRAND PRIZE: A Renovo bicycle made from lumber grown, harvested and milled in the Appalachian region of the US, and two tickets to the Broadway musical Wicked. Each winner will also receive a Twig Case Co iPhone case made from Forest Stewardship Council/Rainforest Alliance Certified paper.
1st RUNNER-UP PRIZE: A Forest Stewardship Council/Rainforest Alliance Certified Grow Anthology Limited Edition longboard. Each winner will also receive a Twig Case Co iPhone case made from Forest Stewardship Council/Rainforest Alliance Certified paper.
2nd RUNNER-UP PRIZE: A Patagonia Refugio Pack28L Backpack, other Patagonia gear and a Rainforest Alliance gift bag. Each winner will also receive a Twig Case Co iPhone case made from Forest Stewardship Council/Rainforest Alliance Certified paper.
