How would you like to win a trip to Las Vegas to watch Gopher Football take on UNLV in the 2012 season opener? Submit a 30-second video telling (or showing!) them how YOU are getting ready for Las Vegas and the 2012 Gopher Football season

Requirements

Videos can be no longer than 30 seconds in length.
Due Date
11:59:59 pm CT on July 31, 2012

Eligibility

Only persons residing in United States who are at least 17 years of age can enter.

Judging Criteria

At the end of the contest submission period (June 25-July 31, 2012), five (5) contest Finalists will be chosen by Gopher Athletics to be judged for the grand prize. A grand prize-winning video entry will be determined by a combination of fan voting (via Facebook.com/GopherAthletics), along input from Gopher Athletics and staff. The Judging Criteria will be:
Originality and Creativity – 40%
Adherence to Creative Assignment – 30%
Overall Appeal – 30%
Fan voting will take place from August 1, 2012 through August 6, 2012, with the Grand Prize-winning entry to be announced at 5 p.m. on August 6, 2012. People will be allowed to vote for five (5) submissions per day between Aug. 1 and Aug. 6.

Prize

One (1) Grand Prize Winner will receive the opportunity to attend the University of Minnesota Golden Gophers vs. University of Nevada-Las Vegas Football Game scheduled to occur on August 30, 2012 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Trip consists of round-trip coach air transportation for Grand Prize Winner and a Guest from a major gateway airport near Grand Prize Winner’s residence within the U.S.; three (3) nights double-occupancy hotel accommodations in Las Vegas, Nevada; two (2) tickets to the game; and ground transportation to/from airport/hotel. Approximate retail value: $3,000.
