Prep your questions and flash your smile for a chance to shine on the red carpet! PEOPLE.com and YouTube have joined forces to send one talented reporter to a major Hollywood event this September.
Using your front walk as a red carpet, submit a two- to four-minute video that shows off your reporting skills. Entries are due July 21st, 2008.
Submitting a video in this Contest is open to persons who on the date of entry are legal residents of one of the fifty United States or the District of Columbia, at least 18 years of age.
Video Submission based on the following judging criteria, each given equal weight, to select the 10 finalists:
- How comfortable is the entrant on camera?
- How professional is the entrant’s interviewing style?
- Technical Execution, Camera/Sound/Lighting/EditingOverall impression
The commencement of the Round 2 Public Voting Period to determine the winner.
Prize: On winner will have the opportunity to be featured along with PEOPLE.com as a reporter from the red carpet of the Awards or an industry party held in connection with the Awards, Grand Prize includes round-trip coach air transportation for winner and guest to the city of the 2008 Primetime Emmy® Awards from a single major U.S. gateway airport nearest winner’s home double occupancy standard hotel accommodations for three nights, September 19, 2008 – September 22, 2008; attendance for Grand Prize Winner and guest to the Industry Event; professional hair and makeup for Grand Prize Winner and guest.
