EXPIRED - Semper Fi House Video Contest - $1000 - Over 18 y.o. - No duration limit - Due: DECEMBER 20, 2007

November 1st, 2007 · No Comments

Semper Fi House is a non-profit organization that assists Marines in their transition from serving in Iraq to being a college student upon their return. Our organization helps Marines take advantage of their GI Bill rights, which only 60% currently do. We need a catchy, but PROFESSIONAL video to reach potential donors.

Semper Fi House is also building a network of fraternity style houses at colleges around the nation.  VidOpp Note: Is this org supporting troops or campus recruiting for the Marines?

Company/Brand/Product Background:
Semper Fi House

Marketing Objectives:
We need a catchy, but PROFESSIONAL video to reach potential donors. We have a professional voiceover from Don LaFontaine and need to match it up with a good quality video and other sound effects. Take a look at the quality of the Marine Corps’ advertising and TV commercials. We aim to perpetuate the high standards of the Corps, so the clips need to look sharp and convey a sense of patriotism, honor, courage and committment. We want to run this video anywhere that will put it up to encourage donations and volunteer support.

Guidelines:
Use the voice over that we have from Don LaFontaine and create a video to go along with it. We will judge submissions on content, quality, professionalism, light, sound effects (that enhance the video footage), coherence with the previously created Marine Corps image, and the ability to convey our concept to potential donors. Please include our logo in the video as well.

You can find the MP3 of the voice over at: http://www.semperfihouse.com/media/sfhintro.mp3
