SevereStudios.com is proud to announce the First Annual Severe Weather Video Contest. SevereStudios created this contest to recognize and reward severe weather enthusiasts for their hard work in capturing videos of severe weather events during the 2008 chase season.
Entries must be uploaded by 5 p.m. on August 31st, 2008.
Videos will be judged by a panel of SevereStudios employees. The “Member Gallery Rating” of the photo and or video will be taken into consideration by the judges, so encourage your friends and family to view your photos and or videos at the SevereStudios Member Gallery and rate your submission.
Judging will take place during the first week of September, 2008. Winners will be announced on or before September 15th, 2008.
Prizes/Awards:
1st Place: $50.00 Gasoline Gift Card
2nd Place: $25.00 Gasoline Gift Card
3rd Place: $10.00 Gasoline Gift Card
Other prizes including SevereStudios merchandise may be randomly given away to participants in the contest and is at the discretion of the judges.
All winners will be featured on SevereStudios.com and recognized for his or her achievement. Also, all winners will be featured and recognized at the SevereStudios Display Booth during the 2009 National Storm Chasing Convention (ChaserCon). (Winner has right to refuse this publicity.)
