JCOC.tv Teens’ Blingz-4-Reel Contest

Paso Robles, CA (October 1, 2007): Today, JCOC.tv, the news-based jewelry consumer TV channel, announces an exciting contest for teens throughout North America. The Blingz-4-Reel Contest is geared toward teens ages 14 to19, who are interested in video production. To enter the contest a teen must produce a 2 to 4 minute video on the importance of ‘Bling,’ as it specifically relates to jewelry, in their community.

Video criteria will be a news-style interview of up to three individuals on the real life importance of Bling. Judging will be based on creativity, content and quality of video production/editing, as well as the ratings received by viewers of www.JCOC.tv. Submission dates are October 1 through 31, 2007 12:00pm EST. Video ratings will be conducted between November 1 through 10, 2007. All viewers of the JCOC.tv channel are welcome to rate their favorite video.

Entrants must produce a news-style video interview, up to (but not exceeding) 4 minutes in length on the real life importance of BLING. There must be a minimum of 2 people interviewed and no more than 3 people interviewed. There can be a monologue (optional). The monologue can be no longer than 45 seconds in length. The monologue can be in the beginning or at the end of the video to summarize the major theme of the video interviews. Entrants must be members of the JCOC.tv community. Each Video will be judged with the following criteria: 25% Creativity, 25% Content, 25% Quality of Production and Video Editing, 25% Video Ratings received during rating period.
