UPS is sposoring a contest for digital video of footage of a pass interception by a defensive player during an organized U.S. football competition, from any period of time, past or present, that took place within one of the 50 U.S. states or District of Columbia.
Excludes any footage from any officially sanctioned college/university or professional games, practices, scrimmages, or other events (e.g. NCAA, NFL, AFL or related event)(“Entry”). The submitter certifies he or she has obtained permission from all persons appearing in the Entry to submit the Entry into this Contest.
You may also submit in accordance with the entry instructions a description of up to 50 words along with your Entry describing what made this an exceptional pass interception. Your description will not be separately judged as part of the Entry; however, your description of the Entry and context of the pass interception may contribute to the appeal of the video for the consumer voting and rating.
Pass interceptions may not be staged.
Entries must be submitted in one of the following format(s) only: .avi, .mpeg, .wmv, or .mov. Videos must be 60 seconds or less in duration and cannot exceed a file size of 50 MB.
Judging
Round 1. Consumer rating will be available until 11:59:59 P.M. EST on December 9, 2007)
Round 2.The panel will judge entries based on the following criteria: the athlete’s execution of the interception (40%), quality of video/videography (25%), public appeal (25%) and the results of the rating by consumers for the Entry during Round One . (10%).
Round 3. The Entries of each of the Finalists will be posted on the Website between 12:00:01 A.M. EST, December 17, 2007 and 11:59:59 P.M. EST, January 4, 2008, and will advance to the UPS Delivery Intercept Challenge Bowl where online visitors to the Website may vote for their favorite interception. The Entry receiving the highest number of consumer votes in Round Three will be considered the potential Grand Prize winner, subject to verification by Sponsor.
Grand Prize Package, which includes: (a) $25,000 cash prize; (b) $10,000 donation to the school or youth football program designated by the submitter at the time of entry
Second Prize of $7,500 cash prize, $5,000 donation
