Win $2007 For Your Best Baltimore Video

Want to be a local celebrity? Fancy yourself a knowledgeable tour guide?

Got a camera and some mad skills? Then the Baltimore Area Convention and Visitor Association wants you. They’ve invited Baltimoreans to portray the city through their eyes on the new VisitMyBaltimore site. And, they’re giving away a grand prize for the best Baltimore video submission.

VidOpp Note: The rules state that you must be located inthe District of Columbia and the States of Maryland, Delaware, Pennsylvania, and Virginia” when you enter this contest - don’t ask me how they will enforce that?

Judges are looking for entertaining and creative entries who entice
folks from around the world to visit Baltimore by giving them a glimpse
of the city through the eyes folks who live, work and play there.

The contest officially ends at 11:59 PM Tuesday, September 4, 2007.

Entries will be judged based on creativity of content and, demonstration of the individual’s ability to be entertaining and creative in drawing attention to the mission of the “Visit My Baltimore” campaign.Each entry must be in one of the following formats: MPEG MPG, MPEG DAT, MPEG VOB, MPEG TY, bps-based AVI, ASF/WMV, interleaving-based AVI, QuickTime/MOV, VIVO, FLI, RealMedia (RM), NuppelVideo, yuv4mpeg, FILM, RoQ, OGG/OGM, PVA or NSV files. The maximum file size for any video file uploaded to the VisitMyBaltimore.com web site is 100 MB.
