Thank you for your interest in The Career Center’s Second Annual Video Contest.
This time the stakes are higher and we now have an official trophy, a plaque and
we’ll be awarding a $250 American Express Gift Card to the winning team.
The runner-up will receive $150.

CREATIVE BRIEF

Project:

“Why WU?” a campaign to explain what makes Washington University students stand out to potential employers.

Background/Overview:

We’re smart and savvy students that come from all over the US to St. Louis and we’re doing great things across the nation. Plus, some might say we’re an “untapped” resource.

Target Audience:

HR/College Recruiters (they travel a ton, meet people in mass quantity, are pros at networking and keen on finding good matches for their organization)

The deadline for entry is
Friday, October 5, 2007.

All videos and signed Permission statements (attached) must be received by Friday, October 5, 2007.

Submissions may be e-mailed to Michael Spear at mspear@wustl.edu or submitted on compact disc to 157 Umrath

Hall. If submission is e-mailed, deliver signed permission to 157 Umrath Hall by the deadline. Each contributor to

the video production must submit a separate signed Permission. Video submissions without signed Permissions will

not be considered.

Open to all undergraduate Washington University students.

All videos should portray The Career Center and Washington University in a positive light.

All videos must include a screenshot of the WU Career Center logo and contact information (see page 5).

Length of the video must be limited to 60-seconds or less.

Videos must be digitally formatted for wmp and uploadable to YouTube.com.
